Runs the function on a new thread, **starting immediately** and continuing here when it yields or finishes. The thread is handed back so it can be cancelled.

  • needs the Roblox engine — its datatypes, its DataModel or its scheduler
  • takes 0 to 8 inputs, set per node
  • names its result — Result name in the Inspector is the local it binds, and a Declare Local reading that result makes a second one: see Variables and locals
